Analog AC power meter

Also covers batteries and chargers

Postby carlo.cianferotti » Fri Nov 13, 2009 12:00 am

Dear everybody,

I remember an old project concerning an AC power meter, it was made using a bunch of bipolar transistor wired as a 4-quadrant analog multiplier and a moving coil uA-meter. I found it pretty clever for measuring true RMS power with very little effort. It sported a few switchable current and voltage ranges. It was on an old issue -I have all of them from 1989 to 2003- probably in one of those 100 circuits collection.
Could anybody help me to find which issue belongs?

Well, I also know the project regarding to AC power meter that you talking about but I don't remember about 100 circuits collection. If I will get any knowledge about this than I will definitely reply your post! Thanks!
