Elektor Reflow Oven on YouTube

The electronics enthusiast's product design cycle

Postby Elektor Editor » Mon Sep 22, 2008 12:00 am

To coincide with the publication of the October 2008 issue of Elektor magazine we produced a short video clip on the Elektor SMT Oven and posted it on YouTube. The clip shows our lab designer Chris Vossen assembling and baking a TBLCF programmer board for the DigiButler project described in the May 2008 issue of Elektor.

We also started taking orders for the oven. The machine is described in great detail in the magazine in several articles, not forgetting supporting stuff on the basics of SMT board preparation techniques.

thanks

Hi,

I'm just quite interested with the oven and I would like to know how much it cost? Does the oven equipped with temperature profiler? Or it's just a standalone oven?

Thanks,
Hecsan

According to the manual supplied with the oven, it is.

Sorry, maybe am missing something but how can the price of £799 be justified when the same/similar oven can be bought on certain auction site for 2-300?

well you can't compare anything if there's no hard & fast information on unit(s) reportedly seen on the internet.
