Loud Speaker Protection

The radio-active topic

Postby umesh » Wed May 30, 2007 12:00 am

A Loudspeaker protection Circutit was published (I am not sure when exactly) consisting of bridge rectifiers with 1N4148 as the DC Detector. It also had a counter with a count down disply. Can anybody help to find which Issue had this circuit? Thanks

that's very vague umesh, and not enough detail for Jolanda at Readers Services to start digging in the archives.

Probably too late for you, but that sounds suspiciously like the original Crescendo amplifier. This was in the (I think)1980 December/January Issue. Mine is still working 25 years later (thankyou Elektor reliability!)
