For the SDR, there is no C23 on the components list, yet its place is labeled on the board and a condensater is present on the photo of the sample board.

Is it missing on the list (what capacity?) or are you just supposed to leave this spot empty?

If your doubt is referring to May 2007 article (SDR), C23 is used to switch the antenna directly to output, used for broad band , only filtering audio content with L6(2.2mH).

Others have some sort of filtering. The value is 0.1uF.

Yes, it appears missing in the component listing. Like wise, the value of L2 is missing in the schematic while the same is in component list.
