Does this OBD 2 Anyliser work with VAGCOM programs ??

No, the OBD 2 Analyser does not work with VAG-COM.
VAG-COM will only work with "dump" interface or Ross-Tech's own KEY or
HEX interfaces.

We can confirn that the OBD Analyser does work in conjunction with the VAG-COM program. Apparently a special type of interface is required. However several VW and Audi cars do supply a limited set of ECU data when conected to the OBD Analyser.

I have a VW Golf IV 2.3 V5, model year 2002. I have successfully used the Digimoto Lite and Scanmaster programs, but cannot get the shareware VAG-COM version 3.11 or version 4.09 software to recognise the Elektor OBD-2 Analyser. I have two questions:
1. What version of VAG-COM did you use?
2. What are the COM port settings?
