That is Great of Elektor.
as the design is published in Elektor magazine, it is obvious that they offer support. Perhaps the author obliges to answer any query.
But what is the issue around the SDR PreSelector?

Yes, assuming that it's our published design and that Elektor comprises its readership, the project designer(s), the editor(s), any appointed lab technician(s), not forgetting three kind ladies in sales.

The only software that I have been able to get work is Winrad. And after the preselector I am not able to get Winrad to even run with out a bunch of Ft errors. Ft_open invalid handle,set bit error, set baun rate,write.
I am new to windows os but I take it Ft is some sort of file error and all the different errors are just in succession.
I just wanted to know if there is any known problem with Winrad and the elektor software as I can run Sodira with out results and not get the error messages.
Im just fishing trying to get this thing to work.

I have check all the connection I made on the sdr, all are good.
Power to all points. Still no output. Have no other info about this board. I guess it time to scrap this project .
Anybody want to buy a sdr and preselector?

throwing out hard purchased hobby items is easy and you would always find some one who would take at half price. But you derive satisfaction from making it work.

when the SDR has been driven by some other software and want to come back to Kainka's software, first remove the usb cable , run "CDM SETUP"

after getting successful message, then plug the USB connector. you get message that usb is recognized etc. then open SDR software

immidiately run init cal by pressing the left top tab there.
once it is loaded, your SDR works
to be able to receive the audio (not DRM) please run SDRadio Ver1.0 by Alberto at www.weaksignals.com
set up by opeing options over there.
you start enjoying the SDR

After wiping HD and reinstalling everything ,still no output .

OMG !!!
there might be a common problem bogging you. Posting like this and waiting for reply etc takes log months
why not have a googletalk chat and try to sort out or you might search out another user nearby to your location., as I cant fly to you place from India LoL

I would love to have someone walk me thru this as I am not a windows user. I just use it to try and run the Elektor SDR.
