Programmable Timer May 1985..EPROM

Postby eglio » Tue Jul 08, 2014 3:47 pm

hello all, having recovered material I realized the timer 85047-1 / 85047-2 elektor published in May 1985 but I have problems reading the hex listing published in the article. Wonder if someone owns the original file to be inserted in the programmer or a legible copy of the article.
With the opportunity to thank Cindy sent me a copy of the article, but even that has some unreadable characters of the listing ...
I'm happy even with a readable copy of the listing or a scan of the document
Thank you
eglio

Hi eglio,
I try to avoid commiting copyright infringements, but since Cindy has condoned, I sent you what I believe to be a ledgible scan of the hex code via private mail.

If you are satisfied with the quality of that scan, please let me know, and I can provide it to Cindy so that she can supply future requests for it directly (hopefully a step in improving subscriber satisfaction).

Hello
Thank you for the scan, I checked and there are no parts illegible.
With the same your end I can attach the file I wrote sweating!
This is because Cindy can make it available to those requesting it.
I hope there are no errors, I double checked 3 times ...

the file is ready, attach it to expect the administrator's permission ...
greetings

updated:
I've written about the eprom file published in the journal rechecking 5 times, this does not run properly and you can not enter or edit the time clock and the 0 key does not work.
I also tried to insert a MC6809EP (test version opcode) driving it with external oscillator but the operation is the same.
there is probably an error on the listing .(There are several bytes to FF and it is possible that the listing has never been verified)
For this reason I am looking for the original eprom file ...

these are some pictures of the circuit

I found the problem and I solved it!
I found the keyboard short-circuit between a column1 and a row 2 !
Now the timer works perfectly and as a result the software is correct!
on request I will send the file 84047-1. bin
By way of information, the processor is at the cost of about 12 euro, x 10 pieces on Bay ...
Thank you all for the help you gave me!
This is the final photo (to repair the keyboard I have moved the numbers as required by the project)
