hi , i don't understand why in a counter (p 158-159) you must add
0 (number 48) in ASCii in order to convert a number. i have understood that the firts 47 characters are unprintable or without interest but.......? thank you for your answer

I'ts explained at the top of page 159, did you look at the ASCII tabel (page 119) as suggested?

I've just reread that section and I think the course is very clear as to why this is needed.

If you don't understand try experimenting. What happens if you add 50 instead of 48. What happens if you add nothing. Look at your results, look at the ASCII table and draw your conclusions.

It's an Elector Academy course so it does require (hard) work and persistence to complete.
