About GPS Receiver Module

The radio-active topic

Postby ntbinh » Fri Apr 24, 2009 12:00 am

Hi everybody,

Now, I going to use GPS Receiver Module 28146 of Parallax for my project.

Let me know:

How dose signals it receives when I use this product in a two-floors house with four walls ?

And What are the other modules to meet this demand?

Please reply to me.

Best lucks!

The simple answer is that no matter which GPS module you use (available from Farnell,RF Solutions and others),you will get no GPS signal, except if you point the antena to the sky, then the onboard RTCC will sync and give you time as long as power is applied and for an indetermined period indoors.
