I am new in PCB designing field and want to work more in this field in future. I want to know about the specifications of your PCB?
For which circuit you made it? Also which CAD software you used?
I am working on a project and also want to design and fabricate my PCB. Can you please help me to learn something about the designing and the fabrication of PCBs on the basis of material and tool selection?

Hello to everybody,

I bought a Colinbus PCBBOX on 2013, but I didn't try to use it until now and I've been surprised to see that there's no CD or pendrive with the software... I tried to download from the webside but no way.

To be honest, I don't really know which software I need because I saw ColiLine, ColiDrive, ProtoLiner, ColiCam... but unfortunately I can't found it anywhere.

Does anyone know how to download it or could someone send it to me?

does anyone know the connection details for the green plug around the back of the PC Prototyper?. I have tried without success to get an anwer from Colinbus on this. I want to interface a auto switch for the vaccum but dont know the pinout.

Hi there,

Someone was asking for the pin-out for the green connector on the back of a PCBBOX...
I too asked Colinbus for the details a couple of years ago, with no reply
So I carefully measured out the pins....
Assume the bottom pin (closest to the USB connector) is Pin 1:

Pin 1 = 24volts DC
Pin 2 = ??
Pin 3 = ??
Pin 4 = Open collector output which goes low when the spindle motor is running.
Pin 5 = 0v
Pins 6-8 = ??

I connected a (suitably rated) 24vDC relay between Pin 1 and Pin 4 and the contacts switches the vacuum.

Having said the above, my controller board has now developed a short across the 48vDC input (before anyone asks, it was not due to the relay connection to the vacuum!!). I've removed the two TL2575HV switching regulators and their input capacitors - still shorted across the 48vDC rail
I'd be very grateful for any ideas, or circuit.

Hello,
A bit late but I DID get a reply about the connector,(just before they folded) Image attached.
My PCBBox is working on an ancient XP laptop, sadly I didnt save the software when it was available, and although I found a copy

I cant get it to work on a W7 64 bit machine , even when installed in XP compatility mode. Does anyone have any suggestions please, or some software that does work!!

I dont know how many users of PCBBOX there are out there but have they all been
1) Junked
2) Using Mipec Software
3) Running happily with back up software that you have.
Id like to hear from ANYBODY about this , but mostly (3) especially if you could let me have a copy or tell me how to get my machine connected as per previous post. 262 people viewed that, but not one response.

I have a little problem with my PCBbox in that the drilled holes are out on second side of board, but to adjust that I need a password for the settings dialogue in the pcbmodule. has anyone the password for this?

I also have an elektor profiler that I require Colidrive and colicam for it has anyone copies of these?
