Can anyone here give advise concerning the type of solder paste which can be used for the Elektor SMT oven? Where to buy it and how to apply it?

regards,
Hugo

To be honest, the oven doesn't really influence what paste you should use. You can apply it with either a syringe if its a simple and/or not very fine pitch, or ideally using a paste stencil.

As for the type, then there are many factors. Lead free or leadded depending on your requirements. The finer the paste (in terms of solder ball size), the more it costs, but the better its suited to fine pitch components.
