Led lighting controller

Title basically says it all

Postby naxswill » Sat Aug 03, 2013 12:00 am

Hello Elektor

In construction Led lighting controller says that d1 + d2 is 1N5400, it is a great rectifier at 3 amps, which are not fit on the printed 110406-1.

Can anyone tell me what other type rectifier can be used instead?

Regards

the prototype pictured in the article was built using BY448 diodes which happened to be in the component drawer. However any silicon diode rated at 3A forward current should work here.
