I tried out the obd2 interface on my 2005 Toyota Corola and it behaved as follows:
Red led on
Yellow Led flashes
Green Led off
Port recognition ok
Chip set ok

Failure to connect to ecu

Error message in German "'EO' ist gultiger integerwert"

Can anybody shed light on my problem?

Hello all,
I have discovered that like the vw's there is a permanent live feed on the obd2 diagnostic socket in Toyotas. The unit will function correctly if ignition is first switched on before connecting to the obd socket.
