I have recently completed the LED tester and found that it does not work with the CR1225 3volt coin cell.
It works fine with an external power supply, or even a single 1.5volt AAA battery.
The current consumption is far too high - approx. 10mA without a LED under test, approx. 18mA with a LED under test.
The data sheet for the CR1225 states a standard discharge current of 0.1mA, and a maximum of 1mA.
Possibly there is a problem on my board which is causing the high current consumption, but from the data sheet for the OSRAM green LEDs used on the board (D1, D2, D3, D4) the typical current for a single LED is 2mA.
Interesting that Eurocircuits own video shows it being tested with an external PSU (at around the time 1:58 in the video)

Has anyone else had similar problems ?
