Thats all there is I'm afraid. If it doesn't work on Win7 or Vista I think thats the end of your project. Try googling AVR309 and see what you can find.

Same problem here. It works fine under XP, but now with Windows 7 I did not succeed in finding a working driver.

Did anyone got it working under Windows 7?

Since my earlier posts I have changed my system to Win7. As far as I remember I used the same driver and it works ok. Occasionally it crashes and the only way to get it work again is by restarting the machine - something I do very rarely as its put into sleep most the time, but then doesn't anything related to Microsoft require this anyway?!

Like a number of users, I have also changed my OS to Windows 7 and can no longer get the AVR309 USB UART software to work on my machine, making the project alll but useless.

Will the elektor developers PLEASE look into this and provide a solution. Many have been waiting patiently for months for a fix.

For who's still reading: I made some modifications to the cpushow program, it now works with driver 'libusb-win32' which works under Windows 10. Changed cpushow can be found in github.com/JDJK1/CPUshow10
