MIDI-DMX Interface

Hi there all.
I'm interested in the MIDI-DMX Interface project.
There is no real discription as to how you operate it and what it does. All it says is you can control your DMX network from your sequencer.

I wish to control a Laser via 7 different DMX channels from a sequencer package such as Logic or Cubase.

Can anyone confirm that it actually can do this?

Hi there again, I built the thing. but it does not seem to work, Clocks are all OK and at the right frequencies, data shooting about on the Data and Address lines and nothing at all coming out of the UART when suitable midi data is feed into it.

Anyone actually built one of these?
