Solar cell charger circuit for up to 4 AA cells

- Thanks a lot elektor for inspiring us electronic enthusiasts.

I have some ISun portable solar panels that can deliver

Wattage : 2.2 watts
Isc = 290mAmps @ 7.6 volts or
Isc = 145mAmps @ 15.2 volts

Plan to use 2 of these panels in parallel to charge 4 AA NIHM cells in series connected. Charge current 288 mA and voltage 7.6V.

I searched in elektor archive and I would like to hear from you!
Can someone come up with a circuit idea?
