My 1st board from my reflow oven

The electronics enthusiast's product design cycle

This is a picture of PCb straight out of my cheap £70 Severn oven and Elektor controller. all components are connected to tracks and there are no shorts not even on the small 16pin chip. which was a surprise, this is primarily down to the silk screen, as my hand was a bit unsteady when applying the solder paste through a tiny needle.

So does cheap oven work yes it does. after setting profile for my solder paste.

Next to try it with unsilk screened board and see what can be achieved.
