Hello!
I found this amp in the basement for some time ago and descided to replace the output transistors that i had stolen a few years ago and connect it to a cd-rom drive and a pc power supply, and sure thing it worked on the first try.
Unfortunately this amp was given to me few years back while hunting heatsinks so i have no documentation on it what so ever
I must say it has very good sound quality, i have it hooked up to a pair of old 4ohm speakers.
Heres a pic:

The PCB number is 83022, my EIT tells me it's the Interlude amplifier from the April 1983 issue. Wow that seems like ages ago. I guess Elektor sales will be able to supply a copy of the article.
hope this helps,
GonzoR

If they are unable to assist I can scan the original article and email it to you (yes a very long term Elektor reader, starting in 1980 and going ever since).
I actually built all of the modules in this amp but then never used them (they are still sitting forlornly in my garage) as I became enthused about a Ben Duncan design, building and using that until now. This unit is about to be replaced by the Elektor High End Preamp.
I guess my failing enthusiasm for the design was the fear over the crosstalk figures published at the time (around 45dB if I recall), and the related considerable PCB switching paths. But good to hear that you are still impressed with the sound quality of one of the sub modules. I have been extremely impressed with the sound quality of other Elektor projects I have built. I still continue to be impressed with the Crescendo compared to other commercial offerings.
