Ford Mondeo Diesel 2001 (Duratorq)

Following notes:

1) Like the VW, power is always present on diagnostics connector so guess need to turn on ignition before connecting unit (or add reset button).

2) Unit scans and talks to host PC but never get green light. But when scanning fourth protocol (I assume CAN bus) engine either stalls or falters. Will run out mains and 'scope at weekend to see what's happening unless someone has sorted. Can anyone confirm which protocol this car uses?

In summary, no immediate success to report at moment.

Possibly Ford USA production. Also, EOBD compliance not mandatory on diesel vehicles with first registration before 2004.
