Comunicatie failure Profiler

Na in het totaal niet meer dan 2 uur gefreesd te hebben met de profiler is het plotseling volledig afgelopen met de RS232 verbinding. De programma's op de PC kunnen de controller van de profiler niet meer vinden.
Helaas is het controller board volledig SMD en ik zit met de handen in het haar.
Wie o wie heeft er een oplossing of een advies??

Just to be sure not to miss anything, would you please complete the start up procedure in following order:
 
1.    Switch OFF the machine and UI (Colidrive)
2.    Start up the machine
3.    Wait until machine homes IN & OUT of microswitches (If there is no movement or one of the axes is not homing UI (Colidrive) will not find the controller.)
4.    Start up UI (Colidrive)
 
 
Check for the connection between machine and UI by pressing “RESET MACHINE”.
If this start up procedure is not respected controller will receive wrong code and it will go in standby mode where it is impossible to restart it without turning the machine OFF and ON again and then you have to start again from step 1.

 
If there is no connection there can be following problem:

1.    Your com port setting are wrong or in use by another application on your PC. This application sometimes run on your pc without you being aware of that. (example – Nokia PC suite is known to block ALL com ports on your PC and they appear unavailable). Check for COM port availability via HYPER TERMINAL on your PC. Every PC has one. (to operate Profiler there should be one COM port free from 1-9. This is a MUST)

I did that all before I asked for help, and I did it again a few minutes ago, but no luck.
The axis are homing normally but the controller is not found by the programm. Also reseting the machine was without effect.
The controller cannot be found.

I did that several times but no connection can be established.

Hypertherminal has no problem with the comport. I checked the settings yesterday and again today. I also restarted the computer several times. Nothing was changed with respect to the settings I worked with before. Still no connection whatsoever.
The only thing I did not try up until now was to use an other computer. I will try that within the next hour and let you know.

I have version 2.2.0.24.
And that worked fine up until now....

Wat er ook aan de hand is, het ligt waarschijnlijk niet aan de profiler.... Met de laptop werkt het namelijk wel...

Maak je met andere software ook gebruik van de COM-poort?
Heb hier een soortgelijk probleem wel eens gehad.
Bij mij werden de problemen veroorzaakt door de andere software die ook gebruik van de COM-poort maakte. Als ik vervolgens met ColiDrive de profiler probeerde te benaderen, lukte dit niet. Dan moest ik eerst mijn PC herstarten, waarna alles weer naar behoren werkte.

Eerst deze tool laden, daarna Colidrive.

Dan kan je zien of en wat er gebeurt.

Ik vrees dat mijn compoort overleden is..... Het enige wat er aan hing was de profiler. Een en ander gebeurde toen ik vergeten was de profiler uit te zetten. toen ik de voglende morgen beneden kwam stond die vreemd te zoemen. De computer was wel aangesloten maar stond uit. Sindsdien, geen comunicatie meer....

En, ja ik heb de computer herhaaldelijk opgestart maar het lukt niet. De compoort is gewoon vrij. Op dit moment heb ik echter geen ander apparaat wat ik er aan kan hangen om te kijken of dat wel werkt..
