I got my board and installed Atmel Studio.

Next followed your instructions and all worked until the very last page, where the system ask to upgrade the EDBG Firmware.

I see:
- Waiting for boot loader USB enumeration

after a while - seeing the 2 leds blink together -

EBBG firmware upgrade failed. Toggle power on tool and retry upgrade.

What does it mean " Toggle power on tool and retry upgrade?? removing the USB from the board an reconnect does not help.

After this nothing works anymore various errors etc.

Problem solved.

The reason for the err r is that i use a Virtual Windows 7 on my MAC with VMWARE FUSION.

With the help of some searching on internet i came across same problem explaining that when you try to upgrade Atmel Studio tries to invoke another USB driver on the fly which VMWARE Fusion does not like. The suggested solution is to upgrade the EDBG Firmware on a real windows machine..... 3 hours later I did so and it worked.

On the virtual windows the rest works fine.
