Matlab R2014

Hi,

Usually Matlab is £1600+VAT - but, they now offer a home use version as per Mathematica, although structured differently.

Basic Matlab package is £85 and you need to select the different toolboxs you require for £25 each. (again, prices are ex-VAT, Mathematica is full version for less than £300)

Many educational text books for DSP or Communications theory (Software Radio Design) use Matlab, and conversion to SciLAb or Mathematia can be problematical for scripts or functions not explicity equivalent.
