Debug ADC PIC microcontroller

Hi.

I am a beginer in pic microcontroller and i need some help.
I have a development board from Microchip, PICDEM Mechatronics with a pic16f917 microcontroller.
I use MPLAB IDE v8.70 and HI-TECH ANSI C Compiler.

I try to make a program using the ADC.
How can i make debug ?
It is possible to see the result of ADC in real time ?
It is possible to see a waveform in MPLAB with the value of current on the ADC channel ?

This last one is an easy way to program your chip. The programm is free. But I'm afraid the ADC is an extension.

Hi,

Please find herewith an archive with several projects for the PICDEM Mechatronics board using PIC16F917.
These examples use various resources on the board, LEDs, ADC, LCD, UART,...
You will need to install (all free) following SW :
MPLAB X v4.01 or later
XC8 v1.43 or later
