Hi .

My name is Ravi Rao , i live in Mumbai India ,and Iam in the process of building the TITAN 2000 for my own use as my Guitar head amp. ( 200W into 8 Ohms )

I have tried to obtain the PCBS and the Kit of parts but no such luck. Will keep searching . Would love any help / Info . The Indian Edition of Elektor is shut down

Anybody out there with the reprint of the March 1999 Article of the TITAN 2000 Part 2 ? I have all the other parts 1,3,4 & 5

Is this Amplifier worth building for semi-professional use?( Reliability / Stability etc)

Love to hear from anybody


If the editor is listening , I would appreciate any help on the reprints . I beleive you do provide photocopies for hapless people like us !

Mr Ravi, the article part 2 is published in India in april1999 issue. (No 184)and from page 28 onwards. I do have the issue with me

I did look at TITAN 2000 but it is a beast of a project!

How is the end product? I remember the specs were amazing

Hi Elektor,

I have a question regarding the specifications - from the Audio Collection 1 CD, the fourth article states that the output impedance is 1.6ohms.

This does seem rather high for an output stage that has 4 parallel output transistors per positive and negative swing.

Should this be much lower - was a "milli" value missing from the units ?.
