Postby asif45 » Mon Feb 01, 2016 5:58 pm

Hi Everyone,

I am using Atmel SAMD20 Xplained Pro board with Atmel WINC1500 extension to send data to a server. I am using atmel studio 7 for this. I am new to this and trying to learn. I came across this example.
http://194.19.124.62/docs/latest/co...l ... index.html

in the example data is send between to board. I want to send data to server instead.
I will really appreciate any help suggestion regarding this.

Hi asif45 ,

The link to your program which you published in your post is not a valid URL.
Can you please give a valid URL zipfile or full name of the program?

Hi asif45,

I have looked at the program, which, as you said, wants to communicate between two separate SAMD21/WINC1500 device setups. I suspect that you have only one SAMD20/WINC1500 setuup and therefore want to communicate with a local or remote server. Rather than trying to hack this program to accomplish that, I would recommend you take a look at the example project WINC1500_MQTT_CHAT_EXAMPLE1 instead. This program uses one SAMD2x/WINC1500 setup to perform a chat with an MQTT broker, which I believe is close to what you are trying to achieve.

Regards,
