Innovation and other imagination technologies

I have had a few ideas and such over the years and I feel that such a heading is appropriate since electronics is a form of engineering which lends itself to innovation. I think patenting is a way of exploiting a finished design, but ideas are much harder to patent. So I would welcome any ideas for discussion, and I will add my comments if I'm around.
