E-Wheelie: Problem with the MIC2941 regulator

OBD, CAN, EV, RV

Postby elrix » Sun Feb 07, 2010 12:00 am

Hi from france !

We are working with our students on three electronics cards with µC PIC which are replacing the original one.

One of these cards is "the power supply" and is already working. When i start mesearing the output of the MIC2941 i found 12V but on the schematic it is 15V. I look at the datasheet and find that with the resistor value given in the article the output of the MIC2941 is 12V !

Did this mistake (or others) is corrected somewhere (forums...) ?
I can't read german and i didn't find something on the french forum !

thanks in advance and sorry for the english

Bye

Set R6= 2k2! Then you will have 15V.
The Wheelie will also work with 12V.

Here the Formula to calculate R5 and R6:
