IDE for use with Platino code?

Postby KenArton » Mon Aug 10, 2015 10:26 am

Hello,

I have just completed the SMD Solder Station project using Platino (Mag. July/Aug 2015), and have also downloaded the firmware version 1.1 for this project. I would like to try some mods to the code, and have ordered a small AVR programmer. However I cannot find and IDE that works with the downloaded files. The Arduino IDE does not recognize any of the Solder Station firmware files. I also have Atmel Sudio 6.2 with the Arduino extension, but have not managed to work out how to get this IDE to recognize the Solder Station files.

Can you offer any advice?

By the way, the solder station works brilliantly.

Many thanks, Ken.

Ken

the designers advise rhat version 1.4 is current. It will be available from the project page a.s.a.p.
The designers are active at www.elektor-labs.com and may be able to help you with the IDE issue.
